Our mission is straightforward yet significant: to foster a future in which every child in South Africa can access quality education, excel in the arts, and sports, and receive guidance to become successful entrepreneurs. Our foundation is named in honor of Pro Matsaseng, a renowned figure in his field, who has devoted his life to inspiring mentoring and giving back to society.

Baphumelele Children’s HomeRosie Mashala: The vision of Baphumelele is to provide a temporary shelter for vulnerable/orphaned children and young adults with chronic diseases and HIV/Aids and to provide skills development for the unemployed, early childhood care, alleviation of poverty, and healthcare information to the community in Khayelitsha and surroundings, so that the lives of everyone we touch can become more productive and accepted individuals who make a difference within society. Durban Children’s Home: The Durban Child & Youth Care Centre (formerly Durban Children’s Home) is a registered NPO providing loving care for 74 orphans, destitute and neglected children, deemed by the Children’s Court to be at risk. The Durban Child and Youth Care Centre has over the years demonstrated its commitment to transforming services according to policy changes. Doctors Without Boarders: Doctors Without Borders (MSF) is a uglobal network of principled medical and other professionals who specialize in medical humanitarian work, driven by our common humanity and guided by medical ethics. We work together in teams, small and large, to respond to the medical needs of people affected by conflict, disasters and epidemics and people excluded from healthcare. We strive to practically provide medical care that matches the realities of patients, adapting care to be relevant and specific. At times, this may include partnering with other individuals and organizations, and working with local experts.
